What will I learn?

Participants will learn to improve upon the fundamentals of dog psychology and how to provide proper leadership for their dogs. You will learn how to take your beginner level skills into even more situations with your dog and master their bad behaviors. You will learn recall with your dog, starting with long leads to be able to call your dog back from any situations that may start to cause them frustration or excitement that can escalate negatively.

Advanced Socialization:

Who’s it for?
Completing Intermediate Socialization is a must. This class is for owners who wish to be able to have their dogs off leash on hikes, dog beaches, and/or around parks without their dogs having negative behavioral problems.
What will I learn?
Participants will learn how to have their dogs off leash around other dogs, prey, and bikes, etc. while maintaining excellent recall and good behavior.

Pack Walk/Meditation:

Who’s it for?
Completing Advanced Socialization is a must OR coming in for an assessment prior to show your dog is friendly and has off leash recall. This is for owners looking to socialize with other dog owners in off leash situations. It’s also for owners looking to find a calming way to enjoy time with their dogs. If you have mastered Advanced Socialization, but feel you are only able to control your dog with a watchful eye on them, the meditation portion of this class will help you with that.
What will I learn?
Through an off leash pack walk which ends at our meditation site, you will learn to be able to find full calm and peace while working with your dog even when you let your guard down. The bond through meditation will help you find a calming center with your dog. Even in a sitting position, you will learn how to have the ability to keep your dog calm when strangers appear. This class does require you to be able to do an intermediate level hike and to sit on the ground with your dog.

Agility

Who’s it for?
This class is for owners looking to strengthen their bond with their dog. This is for dogs that may have a ton of energy and need a “job” to focus better, or perhaps your dog is fearful or shy, in which case this class will help them gain confidence through your leadership. Dogs should be mostly friendly to attend. Dogs with severe aggression towards other dogs or humans should attend our Socialization classes prior.
What will I learn?
You will be taught how to provide proper guidance and leadership for your dog as you learn to take them through various apparatus. Whether doing this to build confidence in a shy or fearful dog, provide exercise mentally and physically for your energetic dog, or whether you’re interested in taking your dog into competing, this is an overall great class for many.

Sunday classes run for 5 weeks. The $250 covers all 5 classes in that class series.
